About Me

Hi, my name is Chris Baish, and I'm the owner and author of 192-168.co.uk

I'm a fairly opinionated person, and this site was created to allow me to share those opinions with anyone who cares to listen. My hobbies include programming, general nerdy things, and particularly Linux, so those will probably be the themes I wax lyrical about most often.

Why is it called 192-168.co.uk? It's a fairly convoluted and dreadful pun. A home network is commonly in the 192.168 subnet, so it was a dubious second home pun. I'm aware that it's dreadful, but it was the best I could come up with at the time.

Why is there a picture of Tux? As mentioned, I'm a fan of Linux. Also, I'm not vain enough to put a picture of myself up there, so it's a substitute. I might swap it out at some point, but not in the forseeable future.
